1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven & prepare pan
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
2. Make the brownie batter
In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until glossy. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Pour the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan.
3. Prepare the cookie dough
In a large bowl, cream softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing until a dough forms. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
4. Assemble the browkies
Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over the brownie batter. Use a spatula or your hands to gently spread it into an even layer (it’s okay if some brownie peeks through).
5. Bake to perfection
