
Fried Cabbage with Shrimp, Sausage & Bacon
A smoky, savory skillet meal made with crisp bacon, juicy shrimp, flavorful sausage, and tender cabbage. A perfect one-pan dish for quick dinners and cozy comfort!
🛒 Ingredients
1 small head of cabbage, chopped
½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
½ lb smoked sausage, sliced
4 slices bacon, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy.
Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside. Leave the bacon fat in the skillet.
2. Brown the Sausage
Add sliced sausage to the skillet. Cook for 4–5 minutes until browned.
Remove and set aside with the bacon.
3. Sauté the Shrimp
Add olive oil and garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes, until pink and opaque.
Remove and set aside.
4. Cook the Cabbage
Add chopped cabbage to the skillet.
Sprinkle with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender but slightly crisp.
5. Combine and Finish
Return the cooked bacon, sausage, and shrimp to the skillet.
Toss everything together and heat for 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
6. Serve
Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley.
