
Crispy Funnel Cake Sticks

🛒 Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1½ cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Powdered sugar (for dusting)

1️⃣ Make the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together:
Flour
Sugar
Baking powder
Salt
In a separate bowl, beat:
Eggs
Milk
Vanilla extract
Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth and lump-free.
2️⃣ Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or fryer, heat 2 inches of vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
Use a thermometer to keep the oil at the right temperature for perfect crispiness.
3️⃣ Fry the Funnel Cake Sticks
Transfer batter into a squeeze bottle or piping bag fitted with a large round tip.
Carefully squeeze the batter into the hot oil in long, thin strips — work in small batches to avoid crowding.
Fry 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crisp.
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Dust generously with powdered sugar while still warm.
