These Crack Burgers are insanely juicy, cheesy, and packed with flavor that will have everyone coming back for seconds (and maybe thirds!). Perfectly seasoned beef patties are loaded with crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and a creamy ranch sauce that’s pure comfort in every bite. Ideal for summer BBQs, weeknight dinners, or game-day feasts — they’re called “crack” for a reason… you just can’t stop at one!

Ingredients:
For the Burger Patties:

2 lbs (900g) ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)

1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Salt & pepper, to taste

For the Toppings:

1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (about 8 slices)

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

4–6 hamburger buns, toasted

Lettuce leaves

Tomato slices

Pickles (optional)

For the Ranch Mayo Sauce:

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ranch dressing

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional, for tang)

Instructions:
1. Make the sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ranch dressing, and Dijon mustard until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

2. Prepare the patties:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands — don’t overwork the meat to keep the burgers tender.

3. Shape the burgers:
Form into 4–6 equal-sized patties, slightly larger than your buns (they shrink when cooking). Use your thumb to press a small dent in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

4. Cook the patties:

Grill method: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Cook patties for about 4–5 minutes per side, adding cheese during the last minute.

Stovetop method: Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, adding cheese in the final minute and covering the pan to melt.

5. Add the bacon:
Top each cheesy patty with a generous amount of crumbled bacon.

6. Assemble the burgers:
Spread ranch mayo sauce on the bottom bun, layer with lettuce, tomato, the cheesy bacon burger patty, and pickles if desired. Cap it off with the top bun.

7. Serve and enjoy:
Serve immediately with fries, onion rings, or a crisp salad. Prepare for happy silence followed by “Can I have another?”

Tips & Variations:
âś… Swap cheddar for pepper jack if you like a little kick.
âś… Use turkey or chicken patties for a lighter option.
âś… Add caramelized onions for extra depth of flavor.
âś… For meal prep, cook patties ahead of time and reheat on the grill or skillet.
