Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
2 chicken breasts (about 1 lb), thinly sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp sesame oil
For the Stir Fry:
2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning packet)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch fresh ginger, grated
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 large carrot, julienned
3 green onions, chopped
For the Sauce:
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sriracha (optional, for spice)
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1/2 cup chicken broth
Toppings (optional):
Toasted sesame seeds
Fresh cilantro
Extra green onions
Instructions:
1. Marinate the chicken:
In a bowl, toss sliced chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Let it marinate while you prepare the other ingredients (about 10 minutes). This helps the chicken stay tender and flavorful.
2. Cook the noodles:
Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook ramen noodles for 2β3 minutes until just tender. Drain and toss with a drizzle of sesame oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
3. Prepare the sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, sriracha, honey, and chicken broth. Set aside β this is the magic that makes your stir fry so flavorful!
4. Stir fry the chicken:
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 5β6 minutes). Remove from skillet and set aside.
5. Cook the veggies:
In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Toss in garlic, ginger, bell pepper, broccoli, and carrots. Stir fry for 3β4 minutes until crisp-tender.
6. Combine everything:
Add cooked chicken back to the pan along with the noodles. Pour the stir fry sauce over everything and toss until noodles are evenly coated and glossy. Cook for another 2 minutes to let flavors come together.
7. Garnish & serve:
Top with green onions, sesame seeds, or cilantro. Serve hot and enjoy every slurp-worthy bite! πβ¨
