🍽️ Servi⏱️ngs: 4
Ingredients:
4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
1/2 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp Dijon mustard (or yellow for a milder taste)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Season the pork chops:
Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
2. Sear the pork chops:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and sear for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3. Make the glaze:
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and chicken broth. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Return the pork chops:
Place the pork chops back into the skillet. Spoon glaze over the top and let them cook for another 5–7 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
5. Garnish & serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot with sides of your choice. The caramelized glaze will coat each bite with sweet and savory perfection! 🍯🍴
